Investment Strategy
As a manager of a fund focused on corporate buyout and private equity investments in Turkey, we seek opportunities across most sectors notably including manufacturing, logistics, food & beverages, pharmaceuticals, branded consumer products, media, technology and services. We actively source opportunities across Turkey with a focus on expanding operations of potential investee companies across the SEE or other neighboring regions.
We are involved in management buyouts, growth capital and recapitalizations and actively engage in the strategy and growth of our portfolio companies supporting strong management teams.
We back profitable, cash generative companies with established market positions and capable of achieving rapid growth resulting in the development of a business with a national or international presence. We do not usually invest in start-ups or early stage companies.
We are flexible investors and we are fully aware of the need to adapt to meet changing conditions. Where necessary, we can provide additional finance to grow our portfolio companies, whether organically or through buy and build strategies. We also have an extensive network of industrial and professional contacts who we can introduce to help management teams.
We typically seek a majority stake but will consider significant minority investments in opportunities that otherwise meet our investment objectives.
We don't make investments just to sell them. We aim to invest in companies to see them grow over several years. Typically we would expect to realise our return on investment via a listing of the company on the stock market or through a strategic sale to an industry participant between 3 to 5 years after the initial investment is made.
We help plan and arrange both acquisitions and disposals and prepare companies for disposal or for public market entry. We also have the resources and capabilities to help our portfolio companies achieve listings not only on the domestic exchange but also on exchanges outside their home market.
